It rained earlier today, and decided to run as soon as I got home. It would have been cooler, and lightly sprinkling. We waited a little longer when the rain picked up - it started to thunder more and the lightning got more persistent, so we waited until it let up a little. After we got to the dam, we decided to stop and use the restroom at about 1.5 miles. As soon as we stopped at the rest-stop, the bottom fell out and the lightning picked up a lot, so we stopped under a pavilion for about 10 minutes. Once it let up a little, we huffed back to the vehicle at a pretty hearty pace trying to out run the storm.
Maybe the Friday run will be a little longer.
